## Main menu artwork

`assets/textures/ui/main_menu_background.png` is the original 1920 × 1080 bunker
corridor image generated locally for Bunker 372 with
[FLUX.2 Klein 4B](https://huggingface.co/black-forest-labs/FLUX.2-klein-4b-fp8).
The PNG retains its generation prompt and ComfyUI workflow metadata.

## Bunker harbor salvage

These harbor models are reused in the generator room, pump room, maintenance passage,
barracks, storage and command room under **CC BY 4.0**, as recorded in their embedded
metadata. Models are scaled, rotated and repositioned; the portable work light has an
added warm spotlight. Original models and textures remain in `assets/models/harbor_preview/`.
Reapply the dressing with `scripts/tools/build_bunker_harbor_dressing.gd`; the full room
builder also includes it.

## Harbor service yard

The first outdoor yard uses these supplied models under [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/), as recorded in their embedded metadata:

- [Pripyat chainlink fence](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/pripyat-chainlink-fence-35adb2f2461c4d30bc94e803bb50de50) by [Nicolai Kilstrup](https://sketchfab.com/nkilstrup). Repeated at its original scale; final bays are cropped and terminal posts extracted into `data/harbor_service_yard/`, retaining the original materials and UVs.
- [Industrial Electrical Box02- 10MB](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/industrial-electrical-box02-10mb-acfc12deb5924fbb877315a9185c66d2) by [adventurer](https://sketchfab.com/ahmagh2e). Repositioned and rotated.

Original models and textures remain in `assets/models/harbor_preview/`. Rebuild the adaptations with `scripts/tools/build_harbor_service_yard.gd`.

## Harbor outdoor terminal blockout

The terminal reuses the retained Harbor models and their bundled materials from
`assets/models/harbor_preview/`, plus the existing generator. Source attribution
and licence metadata remain in the original files and gallery manifest. The asset
gallery stays separate from the playable map. No removed forklift or midsize dock
crane is reused, and the high-poly anchor is not placed.

The corrugated loading canopy, small hut shells, gate frames, pallets and strapped
loads, hand trolley, quay retaining wall, bollards, fenders, ladder, railings and
mooring ropes are original primitive geometry authored for this project with the
existing project materials. Signs reuse `PaintedText` with Estonian lettering.
Rebuild with `scripts/tools/build_harbor_terminal.gd` and the service/courtyard
builders. Higher-detail cargo tarps and equipment remain later environment art.

## Harbor cliff models

The five supplied Sketchfab GLBs below record **CC BY 4.0** in their embedded
metadata. Models and bundled textures are preserved in `assets/models/harbor_cliffs/`.
In the harbor level they are scaled, rotated and repeated, with simple perimeter
collision. The Tiran scan's small fragment omits its unsupported normal map.

## Commercial release asset flags — reviewed 2026-10-23

**Do not ship the four assets below in a commercial build under their recorded
licences. Replace them or obtain a separate commercial licence from the rights
holder.** This review checks local model metadata, preserved source manifests,
original soldier downloads, generation scripts and project references. It does
not establish ownership of every depicted brand or design.

### RED — confirmed non-commercial assets

All four are recorded as **CC BY-NC 4.0**. Attribution, modifying the model, or
removing a label does not remove the non-commercial restriction. See the
[licence terms](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/).

| Asset | Project file | Where it appears / evidence |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Persuader animated** — DJMaesen | `assets/models/weapons/animated_persuader/animated_persuader.glb` | Gameplay weapon: `data/weapons/persuader.tres`. Licence retained in its `.source.json` and GLB. Also replace the derived `assets/textures/wall_traces/persuader.png`. |
| **Wine bottle** — oooFFFFEDDMODELS | `assets/models/props/wine_bottle/bouteille_de_vinbottle_of_wine.glb` | TUGEV KALI health perk, machine display and drinking: `data/perks/health.tres`. Licence embedded in GLB. |
| **Jägermeister bottle** — VRC-IW | `assets/models/props/jagermeister_bottle/jagermeister_0.7l_bottle.glb` | TOPELT perk, machine display and drinking: `data/perks/double_tap.tres`. Licence embedded in GLB. |
| **Australian infantryman from World War 2 39** — deep3dstudio | `assets/models/characters/trials/soldier3.glb` | Soldier preview **03 Rifleman**. The converted file has no licence field, but the original `assets/_incoming/characters/soldier3.glb` explicitly records CC BY-NC 4.0. See [soldier sources](assets/models/characters/trials/SOURCES.md). |

These flags cover the models' bundled textures, animations and other adaptations
as well as the GLB files themselves.

### Harbor non-commercial assets removed - 2026-10-23

Removed the following CC BY-NC 4.0 models, their bundled textures, incoming
copies and generated collision data from the project and Harbor gallery:

| Original slot | Model | Creator |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 02 | Cargo Asset Set | feivelyn |
| 14 | Industrial Set - Modular Pipes | feivelyn |
| 15 | Industrial Set - Scaffolding | feivelyn |
| 21 | Midsize Dock Crane | Showdoze |
| 32 | Soviet Military Forklift | Renafox |

The gallery now contains 35 models. Retained models keep their display numbers,
scales and positions; navigation is rebuilt without the removed obstacles. The
gallery builder rejects models whose embedded licence records CC BY-NC.
The Post-Apocalypse Road Sign remains under the separate Standard-licence review
below; it was not classified as non-commercial.

### AMBER — permission not established by the project records

These are **unresolved**, rather than confirmed non-commercial licences.

| Asset | Project location | Required before commercial release |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Ray Gun - Call of Duty** — Louis Beveridge | `assets/models/weapons/raygun/` | Metadata says **SKETCHFAB Standard**, which is not inherently non-commercial. Preserve the applicable acquisition/licence record. The [creator's listing](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/ray-gun-call-of-duty-ff19e433523341d9b0b18708ab324cf0) explicitly identifies a Call of Duty design; the project has no record of permission for that underlying game IP. Replace with an original design or resolve those rights. Review the derived `assets/textures/wall_traces/raygun.png` too. |
| **AK 47 Assault Rifle** — MaX3Dd | `assets/models/weapons/ak47/` | Preserved `.source.json` says **SKETCHFAB Standard**. Retain the applicable download/purchase/licence evidence; a metadata label alone does not establish that this project obtained the grant. Earlier rifle, currently superseded. |
| **Post-Apocalypse Road Sign** — Nanachi | `assets/models/harbor_preview/post-apocalypse_road_sign.glb` | Harbor gallery asset **26**. Embedded **SKETCHFAB Standard**; retain the applicable acquisition/licence evidence. |
| **Uncredited beer bottle** | `assets/models/props/beer_bottle/beer_bottle.glb` | STEADY HAND perk, machine display and drinking. No author or licence in the model, and no source grant in the credits. Identify its source and permission or replace it. |
| **Kill-camera reference recording and cloned lines** | `assets/audio/voice/killcam_reference/example1.mp3`, `assets/audio/voice/killcam/*.wav`, `assets/audio/test/*.wav` | `make_killcam_line.py` and `make_killcam_variations.py` clone this reference. No reference ownership, speaker consent or commercial grant is recorded. Obtain evidence or regenerate using a voice cleared for this use. Includes the 14 installed kill-camera WAVs and 44 audition WAVs present at review. |
| **Five ElevenLabs-reference zombie takes** | `assets/audio/voice/zombie/suitsu_c5.wav`, `cyka_c2_hotter.wav`, `cyka_c6_seed.wav`, `cyka_c5_delivery.wav`, `blyad_b2_hotter.wav` | `approved_phrases.json` identifies the ElevenLabs “russian commie zombie” reference. Verify the reference recording's commercial rights and permission for this cloning use. User approval of a take does not document those rights. These outputs were generated locally with Chatterbox; that does not by itself clear the reference. |
| **Real alcohol branding** | `assets/models/props/jack_daniels/`, `absolut_vodka/`, `guiness_can/`, plus the NC Jägermeister model above | The first three models record CC BY 4.0, allowing commercial use of the licensed model subject to its terms. That grant does not automatically clear depicted trademarks or label artwork. Review the actual use or substitute original fictional branding; this is not a finding that all branded props are prohibited. |

[Sketchfab's Standard terms](https://sketchfab.com/licenses) differ from its
Editorial terms; **Standard must not be labelled non-commercial** simply because
it is not Creative Commons. [ElevenLabs' billing guidance](https://elevenlabs.io/docs/overview/administration/billing)
distinguishes paid-plan commercial rights from free-plan non-commercial use;
the local records do not establish the reference's plan or applicable permissions.

### Commercial use allowed, with conditions

- **CC BY 4.0:** the other models recorded under this licence can be used
commercially with the required credit, licence link and modification notices.
Include the applicable attributions with the distributed game; a credits file
left only in the development repository is insufficient. See the
  [CC BY terms](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).
- **Generator by InvisibleParrotGames:** `assets/models/props/generator/generator.glb`
is **CC BY-SA 4.0**, which permits commercial use. Preserve attribution and
  distribute adaptations of that asset under the applicable ShareAlike terms;
do not classify it as NC. See the [CC BY-SA terms](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/).
- **Soldier previews 01, 02, 04 and 05:** original downloads establish CC BY 4.0;
the previous source note saying no metadata was supplied has been corrected in
  [their source record](assets/models/characters/trials/SOURCES.md).
- **Mixamo characters and animations:** Adobe's [official FAQ](https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/faq/mixamo-faq.html)
permits their use in commercial video games. This covers documented Mixamo
sources, not every unrelated model that happens to use a Mixamo rig.
- **Poly Haven / ambientCG CC0 assets:** no non-commercial restriction is recorded
for the assets listed in [assets/ASSETS.md](assets/ASSETS.md).

**Export attention:** `export_presets.cfg` currently uses `all_resources` and
excludes only `tests/*,artifacts/*`. Unused imported assets, the soldier trials,
voice reference and audio auditions are not excluded by those filters. Removing
an asset's gameplay reference alone is not sufficient to ensure it stays out of
a release package. Review the actual exported contents after replacements.

## CC0 assets

Textures, props, the service pistol and leak decals come from [Poly Haven](https://polyhaven.com)
and [ambientCG](https://ambientcg.com) under CC0. No attribution is required, but they are listed in
[assets/ASSETS.md](assets/ASSETS.md) with links.

## Attribution required (CC BY 4.0)

The additional regular zombie uses **Zombie Soldier** by **Peter_D**
([original model](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/zombie-soldier-176e930e63d144cc8f615b8dd3a8c74f),
[author](https://sketchfab.com/better_peter)), supplied locally under **CC BY 4.0**
as identified by its embedded metadata. `scripts/tools/import_zombie_soldier.py`
normalizes its scale and floor origin and renames its six native animations;
the original mesh, skeleton, skin weights and embedded PBR textures are retained.
Attribution and source fingerprint are preserved in
[the source manifest](assets/models/characters/zombie_soldier/zombie_soldier.source.json).

Weapon trials include models by arcade_b, DJMaesen (adapted by ImageParSeconde),
loafbrr_1, 3Dexter3D, and tris09 / ccransh (adapted by cktang88/3d-fps). Titles,
original sources, redistribution sources, licence details and modifications are
recorded in [weapon trial sources](assets/models/weapons/trials/SOURCES.md).
The CC0 double barrel by Jean PFP is also listed there.

The gameplay pistol uses **animated pistol** by **DJMaesen**
([original model](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/animated-pistol-30d1b612b2334a8294b02692b8c10cf1),
[author](https://sketchfab.com/bumstrum)), supplied locally under
[CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).
`scripts/tools/import_animated_pistol.py` scales and rotates the original rig,
retains its arms and PBR materials, and splits the combined timeline into idle,
fire and reload. First person retains the source arms; the world renderer hides
them and retains internal part motion while the soldier controls the gun pose.
Embedded attribution and
source fingerprint are preserved in
[the source manifest](assets/models/weapons/animated_pistol/animated_pistol.source.json).

The gameplay rifle uses **rifle animated** by **DJMaesen**
([original model](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/rifle-animated-90bcf5760adb4fae862288d776f51083),
[author](https://sketchfab.com/bumstrum)), supplied locally under
[CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).
`scripts/tools/import_animated_rifle.py` uses `animated_weapon_import.py` to scale,
rotate and reposition the original rig and split its combined timeline into idle,
fire and reload (including the charging handle). The original PBR materials and
moving parts are retained. First person uses the supplied arms and original
motion; the world renderer hides source arms while the soldier controls the world
gun pose. Embedded attribution and source fingerprint are preserved in
[the rifle source manifest](assets/models/weapons/animated_rifle/animated_rifle.source.json).

The gameplay shotgun uses **shotgun animated** by **DJMaesen**
([original model](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/shotgun-animated-c3d3cf425869463a84d650c15e3af0d2),
[author](https://sketchfab.com/bumstrum)), supplied locally under
[CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).
`scripts/tools/import_animated_shotgun.py` uses `animated_weapon_import.py` to scale,
rotate and reposition the original rig. The combined timeline is split into idle,
recoil with a complete pump cycle, and shell loading. First person retains the
supplied hands, arms and original PBR materials. The world renderer hides source
arms and animates the pump, loading gate, trigger and shell within the held gun.
Embedded attribution and source fingerprint are preserved in
[the shotgun source manifest](assets/models/weapons/animated_shotgun/animated_shotgun.source.json).

Six further wall weapons are also by **DJMaesen** ([author](https://sketchfab.com/bumstrum)),
supplied locally and imported the same way by `scripts/tools/import_animated_<name>.py`:

| In game | Original model | Licence |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Submachine gun | [smg animated](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/smg-animated-d5309f6b1e364ff7a7dd2e266756e722) | [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) |
| Light machine gun | [LMG animated](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/lmg-animated-50d67a9e586148a49c086fe3127e7abb) | [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) |
| Minigun | [Minigun animated](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/minigun-animated-e5dbbb2d2e594ebfac33d82d65a97380) | [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) |
| Revolver | [revolver animated](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/revolver-animated-0b0eef627f7b4ca8b425096196213601) | [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) |
| Persuader | [persuader animated](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/persuader-animated-c915c024e4e44d9fad250242d094d4e2) | **[CC BY-NC 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/): non-commercial only** |
| Crossbow | [crossbow animated](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/crossbow-animated-0716aa86b0d1433ea9e4689d06b37ae7) | [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) |

Each import keeps the supplied arms, moving parts and PBR materials, and splits the
combined timeline into idle, fire and reload. The source frame ranges and fingerprints
are in each `assets/models/weapons/animated_<name>/animated_<name>.source.json`.
The persuader must be replaced before any commercial release.

## User-supplied raygun

The supplied `ray_gun_-_call_of_duty.glb` identifies **Ray Gun - Call of Duty** by
**Louis Beveridge** in its embedded metadata, with the licence field labelled
**SKETCHFAB Standard**. The original source URL and metadata are preserved in
`assets/models/weapons/raygun/raygun.source.json`. The local importer normalizes
its scale and origin and splits the combined timeline into idle, fire and reload,
preserving the skinned moving parts and texture. The energy effects and synthesized
shot audio are original project code.

## User-supplied AK-47

The earlier rifle model is **AK 47 Assault Rifle** by **MaX3Dd**, supplied locally as
`ak_47_assault_rifle.glb`. The download's embedded metadata identifies
[this Sketchfab model](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/ak-47-assault-rifle-b59e17423c06416bb92b8e31d9ad5e8f)
and labels its licence **SKETCHFAB Standard**. The original metadata is preserved
in [the source manifest](assets/models/weapons/ak47/ak47.source.json).
`scripts/tools/import_ak47.py` bakes the source hierarchy and corrects its facing
and origin for Godot, retaining the original PBR textures and separate body,
bolt, magazine and cartridges (9,691 triangles).

## Mixamo

Characters from [Mixamo](https://www.mixamo.com) by Adobe, used under the Mixamo terms of use:

- `assets/models/characters/zombie/zombie.glb`: Warzombie F Pedroso, modified into a Soviet soldier:
German insignia and medals removed, uniform recoloured into three skins (`zombie/skins/`), cap and
shoulder boards split out, and an original SSh-40 helmet added (`make_zombie_skins.py`, `build_characters.py`)
- `assets/models/characters/marko/marko.glb`: Mixamo soldier (placeholder until the M7 scan)
- `assets/models/characters/kaspar/kaspar.glb`, `martin/martin.glb`: Mixamo hazmat (placeholders until the M7 scans)

Converted from FBX to `.glb` with textures downscaled to 2K (WebP).
The user-supplied Mixamo **Fast Run**, **Look Behind Run**, **Running Jump**, and **Soccer Trip** clips
are packaged separately in `assets/animations/cutscenes/bunker_arrival.glb` by
`scripts/tools/build_arrival_animations.py`. Their source hashes and timings are
recorded in `bunker_arrival.source.json`; gameplay character files are not rebuilt.

## Civilian zombie

`assets/models/characters/zombie_civilian/zombie_civilian.glb`:
[Zombie](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/zombie-73ef58af341e46afba1da53366ed79cf)
by [pxltiger](https://sketchfab.com/pxltiger),
[CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).
User-supplied model; mesh, skin weights and PBR textures preserved. Re-skinned to the shared
22-bone Warzombie rig by `scripts/tools/rig_zombie_civilian.py` so it plays the common zombie clips. Source metadata and hash are recorded in `zombie_civilian.source.json`.

## Original

The earlier AK-style service rifle and its embedded worn steel/wood textures were created
for this project with `scripts/tools/build_service_rifle.py` (8,112 triangles).

Stencilled signage, hazard stripes and blood decals were generated for this project by
`scripts/tools/make_decals.py`. Zombie vocals are generated locally with Resemble AI's
Chatterbox Multilingual, using its built-in voice and original Russian text, then
processed by `scripts/tools/make_zombie_voices.py`. The voice pack records its model
revision and generation settings in `assets/audio/voice/zombie/lines.json`.
The rare `suitsu_c5.wav` phrase uses the user's ElevenLabs **russian commie zombie**
voice as the local Chatterbox reference; `assets/audio/voice/zombie/suitsu_c5.json`
records the approved take and its settings. The four additional approved swear
takes use the same reference; `assets/audio/voice/zombie/approved_phrases.json`
records all five selections, settings and source hashes.
Other sounds remain original synthesized samples.

## Mystery box

`assets/models/props/mystery_box/mystery_box.glb`: [#11 Mystery Box - 3December2019](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/11-mystery-box-3december2019-5bbcffbeb8d0465cbf901a84e7f36b9f)
by [Canary Games](https://sketchfab.com/CapAlatriste), [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).
User-supplied model; scaled in-game, with its lid animation and an original weapon offer display.

The mystery box chime is an original synthesized melody created for this project.

## Vault door

`assets/models/props/vault_door/vault_door.glb`: [Vault Door](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/vault-door-20d25f3bae24417a9b6cc5ba690c62f5)
by [Ray Ferric](https://sketchfab.com/rayferric), [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).
User-supplied animated model, scaled for the corridor entrance; display corridor hidden,
opening section held open, and original Estonian warning signage attached in-game.

## Barracks bunk bed

`assets/models/props/bunk_bed/bunk_bed.glb`: [bunk bed](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/bunk-bed-8b2a538ab53a4dc3816c8ca78e43ce5e)
by [Tomas Anglim](https://sketchfab.com/tomas.anglim.811), [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).
User-supplied model, scaled and grounded for KASARM. Original metadata and source hash
are preserved in `bunk_bed.source.json`.

## Barracks mechanical table

`assets/models/props/mechanical_table/mechanical_table.glb`: [Mechanical Table](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/mechanical-table-6da03934179a4347ae835e79bc9fccef)
by [adventurer](https://sketchfab.com/ahmagh2e), [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).
User-supplied model, scaled and grounded as the KASARM radio workbench.
Original metadata and source hash are preserved in `mechanical_table.source.json`.

## Additional KASARM furniture

- `assets/models/props/chair/chair.glb`: [CHAIR](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/chair-b07d263a7ab942e6935e77cd75bf1194) by vUv (https://sketchfab.com/vovaustimuk), CC BY 4.0.
- `assets/models/props/file_cabinet/file_cabinet.glb`: [File Cabinet](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/file-cabinet-e7fec8b453ef4105ace383dde017485c) by Shorty_Digitan (https://sketchfab.com/Shorty_Digitan), CC BY 4.0.
- `assets/models/props/hall_tree/hall_tree.glb`: [Hall Tree](https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/hall-tree-0e70eb664f594c5ab6613d0cf4b6c3ab) by luminux (https://sketchfab.com/luminux), CC BY 4.0.

hardware opened farther for player clearance. Original PBR textures and embedded attribution
are retained. Rebuild with `scripts/tools/import_harbor_door.py`; source metadata and hash
are preserved in `harbor_bunker_door.source.json`.

## Perk drink bottles

User-supplied Sketchfab models, scaled to real height and stood on the floor at run time by `PerkBottle`; licence and author are read from each file's embedded metadata. The perk machines show three of each bottle, and the first-person drink animation holds one.

- `assets/models/props/beer_bottle/beer_bottle.glb`: used for STEADY HAND. No author or licence in its metadata; confirm the source before shipping it.

The two NC models are fine for a private LAN game among friends, but must be swapped before any commercial release. These are also real alcohol brands; the models are only props, but keep that in mind for any public build.

## Animated knife

`assets/models/weapons/knife/knife_animated.glb`: knife Animated by DJMaesen
(https://sketchfab.com/bumstrum), CC-BY-4.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).

User-supplied model; original retained. The runtime derivative in `animated_knife/` preserves
the PBR textures and arm rig, scales to handheld size and extracts idle and slash clips.
The soldier's own arms follow that rig. Source metadata and SHA-256 are preserved in
`animated_knife.source.json`; rebuild with `scripts/tools/import_animated_knife.py`.

## Perk vending machines

User-supplied models in `assets/models/props/perkmachines/`. Original GLBs and embedded attribution are retained. `scripts/tools/import_perk_machine.gd` normalizes them to 2.1 m tall, grounded and facing +Z, and removes the Fizzy Drink Machine presentation floor. Cabinet lighting follows bunker power.
